The bonds between people that give them a sense of community are not forged only at the table, but throughout the whole process of putting food there.”

At this time our team works a 24' hand-built wooden commercial fishing dory, harvesting dungeness crab, ling cod, and wild clams.  See below on where to experience our local catch.  The boat is an updated riff on the modern Pacific City Dory; F/V Storm Trooper was built in 2015 by our deck crew in Brighton, Oregon.

Thank you for supporting these industry partners!

It's more than boat-to-table, and providing a way to experience the freshest-possible wild product from Oregon's coastal waters.  The broader vision of North Coast Industries is to celebrate the brilliance of our natural world by creating and promoting products that beautify, sustain, accompany and equip in the journey of day-to-day.

What does this mean?  Creating beautiful products that aid us in our daily work and play is a priority.  Supporting other tradesmen who do the same is important to us.  Help us broaden our community and support those living their passion on the Oregon Coast, by connecting to the source of products you love.

We are Oregon-based, independently owned, and focus on sharing the local excellence exhibited by neighboring craftsmen, fishers, farmers and friends.

We honor quality tools of the trade, intention and craftsmanship, and the fruits of long days spent in the rain, surf and sun.  Thank you for sharing our passion for the local harvest sustained by Oregon's wild ocean and network of estuaries and bays.

Source, the storefront we opened last year, has since transferred ownership to one of our previous vendors: CS Fishery!

They are pursuing the dream of creating a friendly community gathering space in Garibaldi on Hwy 101 and are developing an oyster bar and retail space featuring an array of local provisions such as local seafood, Oregon olive oil and hand-harvested salt from Netarts Bay.  Meanwhile we are focusing on the boat and delivering weekly to restaurants and distributors in PDX.

Visit our friends soon @ 402 Garibaldi Avenue!

One life on this earth is all that we get, whether it is enough or not enough; and the obvious conclusion would seem to be that we are fools if we do not live it as fully and bravely and beautifully as we can.
